Youtube to stop supporting Internet Explorer 6 (IE6)

I went on Youtube the other day on one of my development machines running IE6 and noticed a message at the top of the homepage informing me that Internet Explorer 6.0 will not be supported in the near future.

All I have to say is Thank you!

With a major site like Youtube stopping support on IE6, it gives me more ammunition to stop supporting it as well.

Thank you youtube.

Please comment on any other sites you notice doing this.

Discontinue IE 6 support :D IE is the browser of the devil.

IE needs to be shut down in general it sucks. so bad. so many vulnerabilities because microsoft likes to cut corners.

FTF should put up a notice to all IE6 users that it no longer supports it.
