Feelthefunk.com Most people have clothes in their closets. Well I have old computers that I have turned into servers in mine. It acts as a print server, file server, and surveillance machine where I run my cameras to.

Anyways, I use a Maxtor Onetouch 4 external drive to host my songs and other media files on my network. One concern of mine was heat, the drive got very warm at some points so what I did was took a quiet case fan and ran it on the outside of my case to keep that bad boy cool.

Runs much cooler and the case fan was from a HP, I find that they have very quiet case fans.

Overall a fun little project.

ah, nice bud, I saw a pc a guy had at the lan party that he had put 6,000 into it and he had a pico atx board in it with a like... 10 inch screen in the front of the case.. and then he had his main pc in it he used the pico board n stuff for files and stuff (lan party file ripping from others) so it wouldnt deplete his other systems resources honestly it was pretty cool.
