In the 3rd round, it appeared that Patrick Cote`s knee popped out. People are saying it is a torn ACL.
During the 1st and 2nd round, it appeared that Silva was wisely timing his shots and dancing around a lot. Some may speculate that he wanted to pace this fight beyond 2 rounds. But on the other hand, some of the fierce shots he landed were intended for a knock out, such as a flying knee he landed clean on Cote`s face.
Overall, it could`ve been a much more entertaining fight, but at no point was Anderson Silva in any trouble during the fight.
