Feelthefunk.com If you recall an early post about my holiday projects, I salvaged a bunch of spare parts and built an old set top box out of it.

Originally it looked like this:

Now it looks like this:

It works great on my TV that only takes RCA composites.

Cody pointed me to geeks.com, which is a good site for cheap parts. The site is perfect for projects like this, where you don't want to spend a ton of cash on a junk computer. The case was $16 bucks and I got a wireless G PCI card for $10 bucks, and I splurged and replaced the huge ass hard drive with a 250 GB hard drive for $33 bucks.

Works great with VLC Media Player and connects fine to my media server. Will probably throw MAME on it and get some arcade gaming going as well.

For something to surf the net on and watch Videos, I am very happy with it, a total cost of $70

If it is a Socket A, and has an ATI 7200, water cooling is overkill, sounds like a computer Tim the Toolman Taylor would`ve built back in the day.

that case was 16 hmm not bad lookin either it looks to have a quite simple setup im in the process of figuring out what i have in this older comp I just inherited I think its a old socket a AMD it has a ATI 7200 in it or somethin tells me its about 8 years old. I`d like to sell my old computer i`d even throw in the watercooling block and radiator with it for 100.00 but all that its gonna come with is the board ram cpu and the heatsink it has on it now its really a nice setup
