Idaho Snowboard Resorts

With the snowboarding season around the corner, I was reminded of a great trip I had last year in Idaho. We went to Brundage and Tamarack ski resorts, both mountains were huge and were truly a step up from the typical mountains I am accustomed to around Vegas.

We were luckily enough to stay in a cabin in Council, Idaho that was owned by my friend's family, it was a huge, beautiful cabin.

If you are in Idaho, definitely check out Brundage and Tamarack ski resorts if you can, both great mountains.

Tamarack Ski Resort - A very nice ski resort with great runs, huge jumps. Definitely suited for people looking for some huge airs and challenging runs.

Brundage Mountain - Large, wide-open runs, very short ski lift lines. Great for riders who like to carve up a mountain and have a relaxing day of riding.

The Little Skill Hill and Bear Basin Nordic Center - A little gem we found near our cabin, old-school T-Bar style ski lifts, very cheap lift tickets. I believe they have only 1 run, but its an interesting place to check out if you are around the area.

Sun Valley Resort - We didn't go here, but it is a very popular resort to go to in Idaho and I see a lot of people taking a shuttle from the airport to this resort every time I go to Idaho.
